My go to place for Thai food with the usual Thai menu items. Good food at a fair price. It's a family owned place with friendly staff but no dedicated wait staff so sometimes you have to wait a bit for service but like most Asian restaurants, I judge them the quality of the food; not the service. Dont let the sometimes spares number of diners fool you, they are always busy with takeout orders. My favorite dish is the Pad Woon Sen.

My friend and I stopped by here for dinner and had a really pleasant experience. The waitress was really friendly and surprisingly told me almost all the dishes could be made gluten free. I was so excited!
We order a shrimp cashew dish, white rice, jasmine tea and a chicken glass noodle dish to share. We really enjoyed all of our food and found it quite healthy. The chicken dish was loaded with vegetables and the seafood dish had a really good amount of shrimp and cashews.
The restaurants interior was a bit on the casual side but I would definitely return for more healthy Thai food. The restaurant was also proved really well. -

Kudos to this place for accommodating my friends and I! We were a party of 12 and our food came out on time, correct, and delicious!
It definitely has a home-made touch to the decor and food. I didn't hear anyone complain about their food -

Friendly staff with super reasonable prices for the lunch combo ($10). The lunch combo comes with a soup or spring roll.

Joy Thai is a quaint mom-and-pop restaurant, maybe their children work there too lol. So it's friendly and family-run.
I had the Spicy Noodle / Pad Kee Mao - Beef. Curry was a bit more watery than expected. It was good, but nothing special. Portion looks okay, but was filling.
For the Yonge/Lawrence area, there's not many reasonably priced options, so this place was a nice surprise.
